You can explore CSS and JS while studying HTML to see how the web comes together. HTML is for structure, CSS is for style and JS is for interacting with the webpage through the use of scripts. However since you just started. Attempting to learn more than 1 language at a time can make learning a new language difficult. For an easy to follow path I recommend the updated course: "Web Development Fundamentals"

Also to get better. Continue to practice. One way, while learning to code for the web. Create a webpage in the code playground and as you learn new things add what you learned to that webpage. If you are studying html then you should also read javascript and css along with it.
