Then I recommend to study advanced modern JavaScript (ES6), and frameworks / libraries which are commonly used in web development (React, Redux) and associated build tools. Build up a routine to complete a full project from start to finish. Familiarize yourself with databases, relational (SQL) and also NOSQL (such as MongoDB or Firebase), know their differences and best use cases. Learn about version control (git).

You can build plenty of things with C++ too. Learning a language properly can take years or decades, with lots of practice and dedication. If you like C++ then I suggest you try it a bit more, build some projects with it, experience and research. If you don't like it, then maybe you should mention why, and what is your goal with programming. This can greatly influence your ideal learning path. Don't just take advice from random people, only you can decide for yourself what will work best for you.
