Seeking to be a Software Developer in South Africa

Hello. I'm a 25 year old female based in South Africa, and I want to pursue a career as a Software Developer/Programming. I do not have a BSc I.T degree or diploma so I wanted to know what are my chances of getting employed should I complete a few courses and get certificates here on SoloLearn? What courses should I focus and complete here on Solo?

Certificates on Sololearn are, uh, kinda useless.
Knowledge on Sololearn is, however, extremely useful.
Job employers in the coding field look for good coders. They dont care much about certificates and degrees.
Just a word of advice about coding : When you study, do it for the knowledge/fun rather than the Certificates. That will make it a much more enjoyable and informative experience.
