Pete Shinners is the programmer who invented pygames in 2000 most probably, for an easy-to-use interface for multimedia functionalities (graphics, sound, input) handled by the Simple DirectMedia Layer called, SDL library. This is well known and open-source library of Python. Its creation didn't involve any secret techniques or the mathematical constant pi.
