Steven Will
I can help with that.
Once you have selected your font on https://fonts.google.com/
Click the blue "Get Font" button.
Then, click the blue button that says "< > get embed code."
Make sure "link" is selected and then copy the embed code.
Click the copy code button.
Paste that code in your
<head>
</head>
Next copy the code for the css.
Example:
.roboto-thin {
font-family: "Roboto", sans-serif;
font-weight: 100;
font-style: normal;
}

Why do you need to use the Google API? I've already given you instructions on how to add a font using the Google API. But it sounds like that's not what you're looking for. So, please tell me exactly what you need. Otherwise, no one will be able to help you.

Steven Will If you follow these steps, you'll be able to use the API that lets you add cool Google Fonts to your HTML projects. Are you trying to access the API in a different way?
