It may depend upon what you are gonna do in your future.
C++ is used for developing variety of applications including os, you can create games by unreal game engine using c++.

While python is used mostly everywhere from normal website to complex application, godot engine is popularly known for 2d and 3d games that uses gdscript similar to python, data handling, ethical hacking, AI and machine learning.

Also there is great demand of python developer these days, as python is very popular and powerful language among all programming languages.

I have no favorite. But I prefer to use C ++. It is simpler (for me) and very comfortable when writing. Although yes, there is no need to compare, both programming languages ​​are perfect as they are. No need for this.
