My game idea which program language should I learn?

So I want to make a baseball umpire game like a basic simple game a simple baseball field nothing realistic and and a umpire behind a catcher and a ball moving your just calling balls and strikes.So I am not sure what language should I learn any help please I just want to know what language(s) to learn and know?

No it isnt, it will take time and effort. But a good learning source with practical examples will get you there. I use Udemy courses for learning a lot of new things, I think they are very helpful. They have some great learning to code courses that will teach programming and the game engine at the same time. The courses are cheap as well, because they are taught by everyday people. Just be sure to check the comments on the course before buying one.

after learning a language you will need to learn basic a.i, collision detection, finite state machines, animation, drawing/modeling... phew. are we done yet? no .. damn. still need music and sound as well. maybe we need to learn the guitar too? lol.. :) its a fun journey :)

I would look for pong clones in the language of your choice. see how that works. maybe you can do something similar in your own program?

what i am getting at is. any language worth its salt should be able to make this for u. its the other stuff thats the hard bit really. (once you know the language). See previous post.

You can purchase assets like sound effects, models etc to speed up the process. There are also royalty free assets online, you may just have to credit the creator at the end of your game. There are also some great game enfines out there that are free of which use different languages, so it may be an idea to try some of those and learn the language for the one you like the most.
