How much of dollars would a mobile app with a traffic of 1000 user per day get from a small ads bar in the top ?

From my experience, you can expect to earn $0.01 for every 1000 ads shown regardless clicked or not.

My app which showed around 17,000 made a earning of 0.01 for each 1000.

Also note that different ads have different earnings. Small businesses would obviously pay little amounts of money to have their ad shown; which is reflected on small earnings, around $0.05 - $0.20.
