Are colleges necessary for programmers?

Should you go to college in order to be a programmer

It's not really necessary since u can become a full stack developer even while at home,
but the college degree helps u in the job market

The same applies to university, they are all tertiary institutions!
It's the certificate that distinguishes someone who learnt coding at home, and someone who learnt it in school

its not necessary... you can learn any programming language, but if you are in a college, Maybe you can learn the same in less time.
