Does coding way changed in latest jdk versions ?

I wrote example program in pc in jdk 8 update 102 but i get a lot of errors.I checked a lot of times and no errors in writing.I thought that the way of writing codes has changed in latest updates, is this true ?

jdk can run older programs so you can cooy the old code into a current projeckt. Maybe a method is depricated but it should work.
