Points for a person on leadership board is higher for a week than a month?

I don't know about others. But I just checked my points on the leadership board. For me I got more points in a week than I got in a month.

I would expect the points accumulated within a month is at least as high as the points accumulated in a week (simply because a week is contained in a month. The timeframe of a month is larger than of a week.).

Does anyone experience the same or is it only me? Is this a potential bug?

it is about the first day of a month in a week.

And I had a slight minus score at the beginning of this week due to a terrible result in the challenges. But actually it doesn't matter so much. My main motivation is gaining in knowledge and experience. So the xp-score is secondary.

Yeah same for me too. Probably another bug.

Because the monthly rankings recycle every 1st of a month, where as weekly ratings recycle after 7 days. That means even if a new month started, it can be running the same week. So, if you think about it, above scenario is very well possible.

I think that's because new week started on Sunday and new month started on Monday. So week is 1 day longer right now.

@Tim, yes this is true. Forgot that the week started on Sunday. A week starts on Monday according to ISO 8601 though.
