Who is the original coder ?

I am confused.
the original author is Shekhar, right?
then why Himanshu get COTD?

based on my observation :
- Muhammad ali, Alireza, Dheeraj, and Arand just copy paste the code from Shekhar because you can see his name in the bottom line of code.

- while Lokesh clearly stated the original author is shekar, he just improve it.

- it seem to me, Shekar update his code and Himanshu copy it and removed Shekar name in the bottom.

but that just assumption, i'll wait for the prove.

Adding to the list, we have problems with duplicate codes when:

• Original content creator complains
• SoloLearn features the dups instead of the original

Sigh.

I think Shekhar is the real coder, people just copied it. I've seen alot of these code before Shekhar got COTD

Agus, pls don't leave!
My experience is that SL sets code to private if I report it and send an email to explain my report afterwards.
But I totally agree that copied code shouldn't be featured. It must be checked before it becomes CotD.

I think Himanshu's code just had over 500 likes after it came on the Homepage.
Sucks that its plagiarised and the real dev wasnt even given credit.

based on comment dates Shekhar is earlier.. 4/4/2017 for Shekhar. 20 something /4/2017 for Himanshu..

As jay said First comment on Shekar's post is on 4/4 and on Himanshu's is 19/4
What appalls me is that it is the exact same code. They didnt even replace the '#' with a '*' lol
