Do you think SoloLearn provides a much better environment than your college/university programming class?

In our institutes, on the spot programming practice is very rare. I mean just listen and note down lectures and save practice for lab sessions or for home. But here in sololearn, we are provided by a distance learning system along with a fully equipped workshop environment and a whole community chat room as well. So, it is the place where we actually learn how to program.

As it is in our pocket and we are reading it wherever we have time, its a best thing. But it can't replace all those good teachers who we have met in our life..

All my computer teacher cares about is "GET YOUR TYPING SPEED UP!!!!" (Even though my typing speed is 75-80 WPM) Also, he says he knows programming languages, but one day I was making a program on notepad and he said it wouldn't work because there were "too many if/else/else if" statements. I checked it and it was fine lol.

@Xander A. I caught your teacher. Here is the secret. . . . Actually, He is not a programmer rather he is a "stenographer". Alas!!! Now check in to your principal's office and file a complaint to replace him. 😝
