Why is angular js not given in the study material?

I think its because Sololearn only teaches the basics.

Also there are many extensions of Javascript, such as Node, Jade, React, Jquery, and Vanilla (vanilla is basic Javascript).

I would recommend you to complete JS basics first. Then learn typescript followed by Angular2 in angular.io site. Don't go for angular js if you are starting as beginner.
