Do you use pen / pencil while solving challenges? 📝✒

I know my question sounds silly.😀 But I just want to know if you guys use pen / pencil for solving logical problems in challenges. Many time I feel like I should use pen since it's very difficult for me to remember intermediate values in loops and all 😋. Please suggest me what makes one very good at challenges? 🙋 Thanks!!!😃😃

I don't for challenges but I have for projects. I've had to draw out a diagram of a linked list to understand certain things. Whatever works, if you need a pen or pencil in challenges, use it. The more you practice the less you will need it. You will need to write code on paper in the future too.

When I'm at my desk yes. It's hard for me to keep track of every variables value in longer or more complex code, but I mostly do quizzes on my phone when I'm not near a desk or pen and paper so...

I write done ideas for code by hand. I rarely write the challenge questions down.

Yes, but after chellenge to understand some answer, usually with recursion. During chellenge it means time out for me.
