Those damn python challenges...
hey guys, I came here for learning python and so far it was fun and actually useful. but lately, those challenges just were crap. even if I would win 50 in a row, two losses cost me more points than winning. for each loss I get around -30 points. and some really stupid questions really rage me out... so, please tell me dear community, is there any other reason to stay here in sololearn? do you know other possibilities how to playfully learn Python without massive points loss?

That's why I no longer accept challenges in Python :)

I share my knowledge and learn from others. Challenges are useless after you reach a certain degree. It's like doing a crossword puzzle - fun to do, but does not broaden your knowledge anymore :)

if u lost challenges more than ur level u will get -1xp to 3 xp but if u loose less than ur level u will get -17xp to -31xp.

sorry for whining. but the hate is strong

I feel the exact same way. Maybe we should start our own challenge environment... and we shall write it in Python!

and if you have second account challenge me. you'll get a lot of poin+ bonus poin.

A reason to stay is for sharing code. I quite like this platform for making code and sharing it with people, and while all of your projects may not get seen, it's nice to know it's out there for people to find - not just in a folder somewhere.

Are there any stupid questions when you accept the chanllenges of the user whose level is high?If so,don't accept the challenges of the lower in Python!

@Kuba: I can't say that I reached such an degree, that is why I take the challenges.
BTW, are the challenges in the other languages so much better?

all challenge has the same poin rules.
in c++ i just only get 3 or 1 poin lately.

make second account. With same name and same avatar. it can be done.
now you can start it fresh.

it doesn't depend on the level but on the experience in the language in question. so, a level 6 challenge can give more points than a level 12 challenge. and I haven't had more than 5 points against whomever I play.

and the problem is not so much the stupid questions (some really are), but the point system

lucibber, that is not exactly how it works. I lose more against higher level
