I have a question regarding if statements. I am not able to run the comand in my Qpython3 app on my android.

Question

so i want to runt the command
>>> if 10>6 :
print ( 10 is greater than 6 )
and this progaram should be executed.... but in the app the program is not being executed and an error message is displayed and i am not able to skip line in the command page also . i am still a begginer so....... i am sorry of there are any mistakes in the framing of my question.
