Why do you want to learn C if C++ is out there? Do you have to code in an environment where C++ is not available but C?

C++ is good as well. If you like C, it is worth learning as well.

Because C++ is based off C and I want to know its syntax. So yeah, I could also say it's a hobby thing

I am curious. Why did you pick C? Is there a special reason? I am learning C as a hobby nothing serious.
