HTML5 Canvas PIxel manipulation

Question

Started to learning HTML5 canvas pixel manipulation a few days ago, but still, i feel i am not learning correctly. To be honest i don't understand most of the thing about pixel manipulation like how to get the pixel in x, y coordinates in a 2D array.

I have read most of the articles from the first and second page of google search result.

Can anybody point out a few good articles or ebook where i can learn canvas pixel manipulation from scratch?
