Java is a higher-level language that is fairly similar to C++ if you want to try that.

Just learning c++ from this app won't suffice ur c++ knowledge .I would suggest that before starting a new language try to get a good grip of c++.u may try practicing new problems at hackerrank.com or hackerearth.com

nikhil muraka brings up a good point. while sololearn gives you a familiarity with C++, you need to go in there yourself, code some things, and learn from the sometimes very frustrating mistakes you'll make. that's usually when everything starts falling into place and you begin to learn what questions to ask when you get stuck.
