Now what should i learn, developing apps on KOTLIN studio or ANDROID studio :( .... i am a student and a beginer as well.

this summer vacation, i joined a course to learn app development, i learnt java as well but not this kotkin has been introduced and i am learning app development on java. Seems like a tragedy for me. I feel as if i have waste the summer break.

Kotlin was added as a list of supported language for android but yet a again though not replacing Java, its seem to be getting an edge over Java. It fills the voids left by java and is pretty easy and straightforward. I realized that almost 15 lines of code in Java can be written in just 1-2 lines in Kotlin. So you can pretty much learn both

first of all kotlin is second official language for Android. java is still the first official language for Android. you can use both in same ide (Android studio) kotlin is not difficult to understand if you know Java.

You should learn programming no matters what language u use, choose one and start programming. After you can master it then go find a new language for efficiency coding writing. but in my humble opinion every language has its own benefit, it's up to what project you are working on
