What should I learn first? I'm still beginner in programming..

I was confused because I don't know what language should I learn first if I want to be web designer or programmer... I also don't know what the activities in working as programmer.. Please anyone explain to me about it.. I hope my english is understandable bcause I'm indonesian.. LOL

The person who know the programming language is a programmer

If you want to be a web designer then you have two options
1) front end developer
2) backend developer

★ front end developer :
- who design the look of a website in client side
- They should know html, css, javascript
- easy to become front end developer

★ backend developer :
- who take care the operation of website in server side
- They should know html, css, javascript, database language and any scripting language like php or python etc...
- Not easy compared to front end developer
- every backend developer should know front end development

salary for backend developer is more than front end developer and choose what you want to become
