Convert Roman numerals to arabic numerals

can anyone please make a code to convert roman numerals into arabic numerals using if statements and lists and/or arrays in c++ or vb.net as they are the most i understand for now?

thats a cool idea. I do not know arabic numerals so I can't help but I like the project idea.

hhahHahaha well how about that! Bit of a dumb thought by me. I had a full on argument with my mum when I was young about math coming from the arabic world. so yeah. only makes sense now doesnt it

i have already made a full arabic to roman i will upload it in an hour as i will still convert it to c++
(please note that the biggest number that can be represented in roman is 3888 as MMMDCCCLXXXVIII)

i want roman to arabic not arabic to roman that isnt hard in the way you are making it but its hard in the way iam doing

couldnt really convert the code so i uploaded the vb.net project for whom that understand vb.net
