Python â Easy enough to learn for non-technical types like data scientists, machine learning researchers, and those in the financial industry.
PHP â Easy enough to learn, but man, what a mess!
C â Pretty simple language, sort of a portable assembler.
Java â Yeah, itâs verbose, but itâs not that hard to learn.
C# â Java on steroids.
Ruby â Easy enough to get started, but it can get tough really quick.
Perl â Known as a âwrite onlyâ language.
JavaScript â This abortion of a language is a digital minefield for beginners.
Haskell â The best and hardest way to learn functional programming. (Scheme is easier.)
Swift â Big and complex. Itâs a lot like Scala. (See Scala.)
Scala â Itâs not quite a write-only language, but itâs uncomfortably close.
C++ â The biggest and most complex programming language on the planet. Is it any wonder that itâs the hardest to learn?

Guess it's not the only "challenge" programming language , but for sure one of most popular.

@Anand krishna also , I don't agree about JS , it was super - fun and easy for the first time even as my first OOP.
It became harder only like near real OOP stuff , basics was very simple and 'minefield' (if you're talking about some language "features" :D) is nothin' if you can simple check reference.
