After you make a HTML code, how do you upload it to "the internet"?

do you need to buy space?

It cost if you want a domain( godaddy.com/domains/domain-name-search for example. you need to buy it .com/.eu/org. Yearly) , and after that you need a host, that ca be free like 000Webhost/Freehostia/5GBfree/FreeHosting .com and so on , but if you want to get a good one you need to pay for it. start with free to get the hang of it than move to a paid one(you can even get free domain like www.dot.tk but later on is better to have paid one) here try this for a better understanding of different webhosting and pro/cons of it: www.webhostingsecretrevealed.net/web-hosting-beginner-guide/ but remember you dont need to pay for it , you can use a free at first to get the hang of it, and upgrade it whene you need it

First of all, you need to setup a hosting environment. You can do this by having an old computer around the house, and setting it up with LAMP( or any other packet setup ). An alternative to this, is to buy a hosting plan from any other company around the web. You also need to buy a domain, if you're not willing to use a free one which comes with a subdomain too, or maybe with a weird domain extension which will decrease your SEO chances.

just open the file in mozzila/chrome or internet explorer to see if your code works. but if you want it like a website on the internet you need to host it on a webserver
