Can someone get a programming job without a CS degree ?

If yes then how the employer will get to know that we know this much about programming ! what to show them ? 😮😮😮

Definertly! But without a degree in some form of CS, you would need strong references, meaning that you have public projects and programs to prove your skills. Google (and probably several other companies) has a coding test when employing new staff. The way this works is that they will give their potential employers tasks during the interview that they need to solve on a whiteboard, without any syntax aid. They will then write and compile the code that was written to see of it works. There are probably other noumerus ways to get a job without a degree in programming (although a degree will help a lot), the only thing you will have to worry about is strong references to show your skill.

definitely, if you have enough knowledge then yes, you should be able to prove your abilities somehow, but it doesn't necessarily have to be a CS degree
