hi, Joseph. i would recommend you first download eclipse neon (or latest version) on your pc so the below information will be useful. Now once your done with that theres a big book called Murachs programming java with eclipse. Try studying it, following along etc... If you can find or cant get it, you can also try online tutorials. This youtuber has great tutorials that im using now:

he has 34eps on how to make a 3d fps and its great. he has many other ones you can choose from.
And this app is helpful as well but it only teaches you the basics. hope i helped :)
