What are my career choices in India if i am interested in programming?

I am currently in class 12th so what should be my future steps.

make a portfolio of code, and spam resumes. I don't know if that works in india, but it does in the usa.

java is huge in india, that alone can get you a job. so learn it.

Buy herbert schildt's "java the complete refrence". if you are not familiar with java then it will take 2yrs of you to learn it properly. specially graphical programming with java FX

no i did'nt say that c++ is useless. Rather it is the toughest language in this world, but bro one thing i need to clarify to you, you think that you know c++ very well but i bet you that you know only 20% of it. if i ask you questions from c++ you can't give me ans out of 100 a single one. My purpose is to say you that making a software (specially GUI) is much tougher in c++, but it is quite easier in java, and java provides more library functions than cpp, and even in sever side programming...

One thing i forgot to mention is, that one who does'nt know c++, can't understand java..
