Anyone tried the particle system extension for VS? I believe it was inspired by Atom's power mode:

I love Atom it's a great text editor!! I run it with a bunch of packages that make my life easier 😄🤗 emmit, HTML& CSS snippets, and recently Bootstrap snippets. Also atom-live-server so I can run a live version of my webpages in Chrome.
But I have also been going back and forth with visual studio code too. Both are written in JAVASCRIPT using the Express.js framework. And both are open source 👍😄😁 If you haven't checked them both out yet, you should.
If you don't know the difference between a text editor and an IDE, text editors usually use fewer resources than IDE's (RAM, CPU, and sometimes GPU).
Hope this helps
