Id reccommend unity and learning c# because it widely used by many game creators and by many app developers.
Unity also has many companies (indie and triple A) that use the program. It has a large user base so youd be good with it

if you want to create a cross platform app you can use ionic. It uses angular and html to create a mobile application and the application can then be compiled for android or iphone.
