Is it hard to learn Ruby?

I started one year ago c++ but I realised it is a hard language to start with. So is Ruby a good way to start. C++ for me at the moment is confusing.

Nope. Ruby is one of the most easiest language to learn. If you know English you already know 40% ruby.

C++ is an awesome language, but the language syntax is a little hard for beginners (what I felt), so learning ruby first can be a good move.

After all, it's just the syntax that changes, the algorithms and logic are same for every language.
