Why is c++ so important? And what is some of its actual use?

Importance is subjective to your own sense of value. Why is it so important to you? It's been around since the late 60s (early 70s?), and does an excellent job of what it does, which is why people are still using it 50+ years later. You've probably used a lot more things that are coded in c++ than you realize.

Cause c++ have skills of a high-level language (data structures, a lot of operators) and also of a low-level language (pointers, playing with bits) You have the ability to play with the memory, with a high-level language tools.
