Android mobile application development to iOS app development, is it a hard transition??
I been really thinking about getting into iOS development after working on android for some years now. My strongest language is java currently as well. so would it be a tough road to iOS dev

well I know xamarin is C# and a cross platform ide. I learned a lil swift but I was just more so asking about xcode vs android studio. Of course it can be subjective, just curious of the pros and con's of each

i think you don't have to learn Swift or Objective-C. you just continue C# after Java and use Xamarin to. this might be better, that's my opinion. but it's ok if you choose XCode. it's up to you

I understand what you're saying but with C# don't you lose some capabilities that you might have using swift and obj-c

yeah, when you use Xamarin, basic knowledge of native languages is still required. and there are also some other cons. so just choose what fits you!

I was just gonna learn swift and get on with xcode. Should be interesting how it is compared to android studio
