File Size/Code Size?

Question

Quick question about HTML in particular but also related to other languages. If I space the code out to make it look better and easier to read, it adds lines to the code even though there isn't any extra information on the lines, does that increase the file size? Is it therefore bad practice to space it out too much?

It does in very little bits that are unnoticeable

No it makes the code readability much easier, and easy to edit. This does not increase the file size.
