after js learn server side language like php. I would suggest you learn full stack java script because I believe it will be in very very high demand in the next few years. this means knowing java script itself, a front end frame work like react (I am currently learning this and it is very cool) and server side java script like node.js., and a database like mongo.db

yes it is quite possible. all it needs is passion. if you have that you can do it. try other free online resources too and don't forget to practice a lot.

and learn tools as soon as you can . there is a lot of them and you need them like an electrician needs his tools.

Nope. JS is entirely different from HTML and css. You should know HTML and CSS if you plan to be in web development. But JS is a whole new world. Syntax and everything is totally different.

I would memorize all the html and most of css. If you don't memorize everything cold at least have an understanding of it so you know what to Google when u have to

Definitely not. There are way too many to memorise. I learned JavaScript fine, with only minimal HTML knowledge and no CSS knowledge. I found that my knowledge increased in all three languages when I started combining them.

I only spent like a week learning HTML basics then a few months later I decided I wanted to code for real using JavaScript. That was probably around 3 years ago, but I haven't been studying that whole time. I realised that it would be useful to know CSS when I was trying to format my HTML, so I learned that, as well as some new HTML tags. But my main focus has been on JavaScript.
