Is it important to learn c++ before java ?

yeah c++ the base of programming you should learn it to now what is programming then go to java you will see it easy for example i start with c++ now i learn c# i see it easy . you will learn java quickly . i hope this comment help you With wishes for success to become a professional programmer

Well they both are very useful languages ,but as far as I know c++ programmers have more salaries than java programmers.I recommend you to learn C++ first because it's based on C and you can find jobs easier if you know C and C++.

Depends. Is what you're planning to do in the near future related to Java? If so, then it'd be really unimportant to learn C++ first. If you'll be using C++, then I'd learn that first. You don't need to know another language in order to learn another one.

if you learn c and c++ you will get some knowledge about Java.. c++ is not pure object oriented language but Java is. . it is not mandatory to learn c and c++ before learning Java... in Java the concept of pointer is eliminated so Java assure the safe coding and environment... if you want to learn about pointer you can choose the other one
