Where are you going to work after you finished your education of programming language?
I took a decision to start programming because I realized the potential of this emerging sphere (probably, I did it too late))) I really couldn't imagine how I can implement my newly acquired knowledge at my current work. So, I started to think about emerging industries where my abilities could be helpful. I am not as young as many other of SoloLearn community. It is a bit confusing. Where are you going to work? In your current company, in IT company or you are going to relocate to US?

The best thing about programming is thr large variety of options it offer in job section.
All the ways you mentioned are actually possible in programming.
First option: Improving your current job with new programming knowledge will be the best to start.
All these years of experience in your old job won't get wasted.
Second: change job to a full programming company will have a good focus on your new skills but no use for old ones.
Third option: Moving to a country with possible more job offers can get you through lots of problems. In my opinion it's only worth it if you can get found from one of the universities there.
