Do we have Java developers who turned into JS development??who decided to stop Java and do JS dev?

Why you decided to learn JS if you could dive deeper into Java world?
Why especially JS after Java?
you decided JS?? or both Java and JS??

I stay with Java, but if somebody did move from Java to JS it's probably because they want to get into some sort of web development. Assuming they don't want to use JSP.
