How did you come to learning coding?

Question

I'm mining engineer and have to work with some graphical software and huge amounts of data so I used to get an easy way to deal with them by using scripts and plugins therefore I decided why not to develop some scripts and macros by myself then I started to learn java and so on.

What about you?

i did my academic project on text mining using C#
before my project i wasn't even interested in C#
but after understanding data mining we decide to perform on mining subject so because of that now im working as Asp.net developer using C#..

I'm pursuing my bachelor's in biomedical science and apart from my career l have a great intrest in programming, especially python.
Although till yet, it haven't played a big role in my professional life but you never know what is in the future....
