can I install the jdk and run it on my chromebook? Chrome OS?

Unfortunately, since the Chromebook is almost entirely cloud based, it's impossible to install the Java JDK and the appropriate programming tools that go along with it. But alas! All hope is not lost! There are many tools that already exist that allow you to program in the Java programming language directly from your ChromeOS Browser! Fantastic, right? Laptops are great for programming because they give you the option to program when and wherever you want, but some may prefer getting a Desktop.
