if Python is your first choice and you have fun with it, yes

If you are thinking of data analytics, machine learning, deep learning, neural networks or artificial intelligence - then yes. If not - then yes, too :)

as a coder in cpp java haskell etc etc i am still learning python the only downside is android programming in it (bad) else, it sucks you in too awesome if i were to write, a 1000 words + article would make it easily

python is a general purpose language and yes its application is so wide so yes go for it
