What do Sololearners think of Stack Overflow?

I'm curious about your opinion about Stack Overflow. Please tell me all about your experiences.. And what is the major difference compared to Sololearn? Every insight will be appreciated.

It is in my opinion for more experienced programmers to ask questions. it is good. i like it 😊

My view is;
StackOverflow - Detailed answers to use as references, easier to understand if you're experienced.
SoloLearn - Simpler, easier
-to-understand answers.
Both communities are very good in their own right, but should not become second versions of each other. I enjoy both and they help me greatly. 😊

SO is based on reputation points rather than XP. Casting downvotes actually decreases your reputation believe it or not. So there is much less trolling and chit chat, and more to the point answers. If you want to code something, chances are it has already been asked on stackoverflow.

I post solutions on Sololearn, I get upvotes and best answers. 😀😁😄😊🤗
I post solutions on Stack Overflow, most of it get downvotes...😑😥😦🙁😖

In my opinion, both have a great community, but i like sololearn because is easier to use and everyone is willing to help more. Also I learn more here.

Stack Exchange is what I think inspired Sololearn's Q&A section.
It has almkst the same features, but with a bigger community you might find better people than the best Sololearners who can give you good advice
And stackexchange is not only for coding, there is literally stack exchange for gaming to coding

There is a stackexchange for almost everything....even for guess what, bicycles! 😨 I'm subscribed to 6 sites, game dev physics math stackoverflow science fiction & fantasy and CS theory. I don't even dare answering qs on the math and physics forums as I think I would get downvoted into oblivion 😬 Many brilliant people are active on those sites.

I would suggest for a beginner start with sololearn and when you grasp the language well for advanced understanding use stackoverflow. Both are awespme :)

I like Stack as well but you have to learn how to ask a GOOD question. And that's not so easy as it seems to be 😉

I literally can't live without stack overflow. you have no idea how much it helped me. sololearn are for beginners. while it is good for starting out on a new language, it is not appropriate for intermediate and experience users. e.g. I would not ask questions like how to implement a binary search tree and then retrieve a specific data by recursion on sololearn. advanced topics like data structure and abstract data types arent taught here either

SoloLearn is good for got it the basic concepts of a language. Stack have too much topics and sometimes don't answer the quest. Beside you can find a lot of advance information of specific topic
