Is it necessary to learn C++ before java?

Both of those have a lot in common. Just take both courses and work through the lessons. You'll figure out that.

no, c++ is a bit more comprehensive however because you will learn memory management while in java you don't since it is taken care of for you.

It isn't necessary but once you learn c++ it's a little bit easier to learn java. but it's totally possible to learn java without learning c++

I think c++ better to learn early before java. But actually I am not a pro in programming and a newbie but to learn the concept I think JavaScript and php are easy...at least in my case!!!
