In today's world programming is used all over the world. In your phone, on your computer, telephone towers, everywhere... A programming language makes it easier for the programmer to "speak" to the computer and instruct it what to do and how to do it. Thus a NEW programming language has to be made for a specific reason, maybe it's to sort or analise data on a server, maybe it's used to improve security. A new language should have a goal to it, a reason to "live". Personaly I don't think it's a bad idea to make a new language... but it takes a ton of experience and years to make a language that can be used world wide. Common questions like: - Will it run on the latest opperating system? - Can I use it to make this program? - Is it understandable? - Is it secure? Questions like these will be asked... So coclusion: - Will a new language be good to the community? > It depends on what it's made for.
