should schools/colleges continue C or python or Java instead for the beginners to programming?

i think C/C++ would be best as they give u excellent knowledge not just about programming but also about memory & computer architecture.
On the other hand i also think that as there are tons of languages & education institution can't teach every language they should instead start with something simple like scratch and then teach these high lvl languages.

In my opinion, if you start the C, it's better to know more about algorithms and make Python extremely easy for you.
