I had previous experience with c & c++ so i started learning Unity and then came across this course for C#. Good overall course helps with learning C# for applications like Unity although the api is quite different when comparing .net to mono

yes. C# is the only programming language you need to start learning Unity

Javascript too for unity.

In my opinion using C# is better than using javascript or BOO in unity. Feels more stable for some reason.
