What do you do when you are stuck with a programming problem for hours?

Go to sleep for 12 hours and attempt again when refreshed. Works every time.

work on something else for the rest of the day and after a good sleep try the problem again, kinda like @hatsy said

if u stuck with programming problem u must learn again, but if u stuck with ide progamming problem u need take a nap n rest. take a coffee n give to me lol

Start completely over and try to view the problem differently or take a break as suggested from others.

cooking (having a plate of fresh pasta) , running or talk to people that want to listen to that problem.. sometimes the ideas come like they fall from the sky
