@Andrew If you're wanting to be the guy that replaces Facebook, then do it. The guy that made Facebook was the guy that wanted to replace MySpace, so it's as possible as your dedication / vision toward it. You don't have to guess at the future when you're the one that's creating it, right? :) Best of luck to you.

Are you asking us if we're psychics? Some of us may be, but most of us are just programmers. I've no idea what the untold future consists of. Best bet is to always be flexible, and learn new things as technology changes with the times.

Yea, I remember that guy that said that on MySpace. lul None of us here, including yourself, can determine the fate of Facebook. Maybe it'll stay, maybe it won't. Doesn't much matter either way, and certainly doesn't matter at the moment. Best preparation is being able to move with changes when they happen.

Nobody likes to hear it much but Facebook is here to stay. It has recently added a marketplace and streams videos. You theoretically don't have to surf outside of Facebook if you don't want to, anymore. Unless maybe to order groceries from Amazon. :p

I think facebook isn't going to disappear, but then again, I could still go to Myspace if I wanted and log into my old crap. It still exists. Do people really use it? No. I do know for a fact that as my sister is almost a decade younger than me, I get to see the future grow up. I do know that they call me old because I have facebook and I get told facebook is for old people. They do Twitter, Instagram and Snap. I had to convince her to even use messenger, she'd rather use kik. Facebook isn't dead, but eventually, we will all either die off, get bored, or find something new.
