What is the best way to teach yourself to code?

I think it's different for each person.

For me the biggest hurdle was sitting down and actually opening up that tutorial, you know, ignoring my self doubt and fears of failure. Once I got past that I started flying.

I think it helps to set realistic goals and also understand why you're doing this, Eg to become a software developer, for fun etc.
