What are the sideline advantages you have gained since you started coding?

A good example is "improved memory"

Since I started learning how to code 37 days ago in Sololearn, these virtues have been manifested in me. -Memory; With a bunch I of syntaxes and tags, memorization is not an option. -Attention to details; with a bit of mistake you get a bug. -Patience; Sometimes the code just doesn't work. You must not loose hope. -Problem Solving mindset; Bugs issue comes here. -Creativity; The codes you create must be unique. -Focus; without this virtue , one cannot be a coder. -Endurance- Goes in hand with patience but also you must learn to sit for a good amount of time. -Humility; this happens when you see your peers create write good codes while you get bugs.

Before programming I don't get creative ideas to make codes and I am not logical but when I started programming it takes some time but I am getting creative ideas and my thinking became logical.

Confidence. One issue I have is not being confident in my abilities, which shows when I'm talking to people. After running courses and challenges in SoloLearn I've found I'm more confident about my coding knowledge.

Software development has expanded my mindset on life. Hard to explain. Object oriented. Encapsulation. Synchronized. Declaring a method can hold arguments which would then require parameters to call. Inheritance. Polymorphism. Generics. Recursive methods. The math involved is truly mesmerizing. Fibonacci. Properties of a circle. Algorithms and algebra. Binomials, trinomials and polynomials. Even methods of coding such as DRY, MoScoW, Code Smells and the like are affecting me in ways I could never imagine. Ultimately, it leads me to ask why? Do you agree with me that coding, programming and software development are merely three different levels of creating and that we are all creators in our own right. This science has led me to wonder who is the ultimate creator.

Appreciation. Honestly, basic stuff like creating an Excel document, or changing a screenshot to jpeg and zipping it to email it perfectly to your professor makes no sense to me. But code makes since. It's like, nothing we use would exist without it. Crazy.
